About the event
In this two-hour Holiday Candle Holder Workshop for kids aged 10 to 12, participants will create Saint Nicholas-themed candle holders by decorating glass jars. They will start by selecting their jars and using tissue paper to create colorful layers, gluing them carefully to the glass. Once the base is set, they’ll use acrylic paints to add holiday-themed designs like snowflakes, stars, or Saint Nicholas motifs. A touch of glitter will add a festive shine, and kids can personalize their jars with stickers or by writing their names or holiday messages.
Throughout the session, we’ll keep the energy high with movement and mindfulness activities. After crafting, kids will enjoy a Holiday Dance Party or a "Pass the Snowman" game to stay active and connected. Mindfulness moments will also be integrated, with guided deep breathing exercises and a brief reflection on the joy of giving, allowing kids to appreciate the meaning behind…
